Born and raised in Denmark, SC and graduating from Denmark Olar High School, Dr. Washington went on to attend schools like Morehouse, Savannah State, and Norfolk State but did not like either of them until he found himself at Jackson State University and absolutely loved it!
Obtaining his Master's in Communication from Northwestern and experienced teaching from both PWIs and HBCUs. When asked about his opinions on the difference between the two here's what he said.
After experiencing life in cities such as Atlanta, Houston, Chicago and obtaining multiple degrees, Dr. Washington fell back into teaching as a professor on a collegiate setting as he was motivated to pour back into people that looked like him as someone once poured into him.
