But what about those regular days where you're not in the mood for the same ole same old McDonald's, Wendy's, or Taco Bell? As someone who works directly across from a McDonalds it comes to a point where you simply can't eat that food all the time. My favorite food truck of all time has to receive an honorable mention, as they recently announced that they would officially be closing down after 14 years of business. Heartbroken is not the word when I saw the news. I looked forward to their burgers and BBQ anytime I saw them on the food finder list.

Easter weekend in Charleston was full of busy streets, shopping centers, and restaurants. Join my family and I as we stop into Miller's All Day for a late breakfast, also known as brunch, located on James Island. The restaurant had a steady flow of patrons in and out of the establishment and the room was filled with laughs and conversations. The decor gives an a beach boys music video vibe with records against the wall and an old school photo booth in the corner near the bar. 

Be aware that a popular restaurant like this one that has a second location in the downtown area of Charleston is sure to have a wait time and a wait they did but not an unbearable amount of time like one may think on a busy weekend like Easter. After a 15-minute wait, we were seated and our waitress, Amy brought us a carafe of water and asked us what we would like to get started with. We all ordered a glass of sweet tea, which is a staple here in the south

After giving us some time to check out the menu our waitress came back to see if we were ready to order or if we wanted to get any appetizers in first before our order. My mother and sister ordered the banana bread to share, crab fritters, a cinnamon roll, and I ordered french toast sticks that were DELICIOUS! They were not your average french toast sticks, they reminded me of their banana bread or carrot cake type filing. They were extremely dense yet fluffy like a cake.

About 10 or so minutes later, Amy returned and took our order after giving us our appetizers and it was something we truly appreciated because the service was consistent and the food was hot and made fresh. That's one thing I can't stand when going to a restaurant, is for the food to be lukewarm and not hot at all even though I just ordered it. The table got pretty quiet as we enjoyed the delicious food set before us indulging in every bite. Needless to say, we all had a good nap when we got home!
